Amritsar: Spring Blossoms School hosted Dussehra festivities, to mark the victory of good over evil. An effigy of Ravana was displayed with each of its 10 heads depicting vices like greed, anger, disrespect, restlessness, thanklessness, dependence, hate, fear, unkindness and dishonesty which was replaced with virtues like generosity, forgiveness, respect, calmness, gratitude, self-discipline, love, courage, kindness and honesty. Children were informed about these vices and virtues. Principal Anupama Mehra said, “Dussehra is a time for inner reflection. It serves as a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold righteousness and justice. Working on the same lines, at Spring Blossoms, instead of burning effigies and polluting the environment, we motivated our children to destroy their inner vice.”
