Campus notes: Institution of Happiness-2024
Sri Sai College of Pharmacy, Badhani, Pathankot, has been awarded the prestigious recognition of “Institution of Happiness-2024” by QS i-Gauge. Group Chairman K Punj, MD Tripta Punj and CMD Kanwar Tushar Punj and the staff were present on the occasion. This recognition is the result of an extensive online survey conducted by QS i-Gauge, where more than 80 per cent faculty and more than 50 per cent students expressed a feeling of happiness and satisfaction with the campus environment. “It is a proud moment for us to be recognised as a ‘Happiness Organization – 2024’ by QS i-Gauge. This recognition is a testament to our tireless efforts and a proof to create an environment that promotes academic excellence, emotional well-being and holistic development of our students and faculty,” said Punj.
20th Annual Field Show
Amritsar: Indian Public School, Amritsar, celebrated its 20th Annual Field Show with enthusiasm. Chief guest Dr HP Singh, along with guests of honour, Ravinder Singh, Balraj Singh Batth and Francesca Marino, graced the occasion. Apart from races, the students also showcased Punjab’s cultural heritage through Gatka and Giddha performances and demonstrated their strength with karate and boxing. Principal Deepika Kapoor congratulated the students and staff for the excellent show.
Annual show held
Amritsar: The annual show of Cambridge International School, Amritsar, was held on November 29. The theme was “Krishna Leela”, a celebration of the divine play (Leela) of Lord Krishna. The event was a blend of cultural performances, artistic depictions and spiritual reflections, all centred around the enchanting and mystical life of Lord Krishna. The theme aimed to bring to life the divine miracles, playful antics and the profound philosophical teachings of Lord Krishna, encouraging the audience to reflect on his divine presence in their lives. The school band singing the soulful renditions of ‘Hare Krishna, Hare Rama’ escorted the chief guest, Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, MLA, Amritsar (North) and the guest of honour, Ranjodh Singh to the stage. The annual school report was shared by principal Shveta Aggarval. A segment, Gita Saar, dedicated to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, was also included that summarised how Lord Krishna’s teachings in the Gita can guide individuals in navigating the challenges of modern life.
