Someswarudu takes over as CEO of GAIL Gas Ltd
MV Ravi Someswarudu has taken over as chief executive officer (CEO) of GAIL Gas Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GAIL (India) Limited, engaged in the city gas distribution business. Prior to this assignment, he was serving as executive director & officer-in-charge of the Petrochemical Project at GAIL, Pata. He has taken over the charge from AK Jana, who is now the managing director of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL).
ISS launches workplace virus-disinfection service
Global workplace experience and facility management company ISS has launched Pure Space – a new disinfection and hygiene solution. It offers disinfection, cleaning of workplaces by focusing on hygiene and well-being of employees and validation of the outcome of the disinfection process. BBMB surpasses power generation target
BBMB has surpassed its energy generation target fixed by the Central Electricity Authority for the first quarter of financial year 2020-21 ending June, 2020 by 131%. BBMB’s power houses generated 3,326 million units of energy against target of 2,543 million units.
Sonalika Tractors records 55% growth in June

CGR-making facility launched in Punjab

NFL records all-time high fertiliser sales in Q1
NFL has achieved the highest-ever fertiliser sale of 12.85 lakh MT in the first quarter (April-June) of the current financial year. This is around 21.5% higher than 10.57 LMT achieved in the first quarter of 2019-20. Besides urea sale, P&K fertilisers also recorded a growth of 13% during the quarter.
Reliance Jio strengthens subscriber base in Punjab
Reliance Jio has added around 2.5 lakh subscribers in Punjab in February alone, as per latest TRAI data. With this, Jio has a customer base of 1.37 crore subscribers in the state. According to the company, Jio’s robust 4G network carries more than two-thirds of the total data traffic in the state.
