Maruti Suzuki reports lower profit, but sees revenue growth, exports surge
Net profit slides 17% YoY to Rs 3,069 crore

Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) on Tuesday reported a 17 per cent drop in its standalone net profit for the September quarter, at Rs 3,069 crore, compared to Rs 3,716.5 crore reported in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue from operations rose marginally (0.4 per cent) year-over-year to Rs 37,202.8 crore in the September quarter of financial year 2025, from Rs 37,062.1 crore in the same quarter last year.
The Company sold a total of 5,41,550 vehicles during the quarter, of which the domestic market volume was 4,63,834 vehicles and the export volume was 77,716 vehicles. While the domestic volume declined by 3.9 per cent, the export volume grew by 12.1 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year.
During the quarter, the company registered Net Sales of Rs 35,589 crore against Rs 35,535 crore in the same period of the previous year.
The Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter grew by 6.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 51,00 crore, being its highest ever for the Company.
