New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued a show-cause notice to Air India for non-compliance with norms pertaining to facilities that are required to be provided to passengers. The development comes less than a year after the carrier faced a fine of Rs 10 lakh for flouting norms.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
