British accent and pronunciation training for kids

British Youth International College (BYITC), an online educational platform has introduced its English Language Programme in India after receiving a warm reception for its Abacus Maths courses. The English programme is designed for children from 4 to 14 years and is divided into 4 blocks; Foundation, Intermediate, Higher & Advanced.

 The purpose of the English programme is to teach British English & Accent to children from a young stage as accents are difficult to acquire after a certain age. The programme will be delivered by British Teachers so that the students can have firsthand experience of the pronunciation & accent of British English.  

In this course, a variety of creative and engaging class activities such as group discussions, plays, poetry, and much more are done to engage and train students in proper accent and pronunciation through an expert & trained British teacher.

Students will be trained in phonics, an essential skill to ensure successful reading. Students will be instructed and trained to understand the relationship between sounds and spellings, and more importantly, the difference in pronunciation and enunciation of words and phrases. Activities focused on this skill include storytelling, poetry, and elocution among others.

The English language programme is designed & run by Cambridge accredited specialists to ensure that every student receives the best possible education curriculum on BYITC’s platform. The programme covers topics like British English Accent Training, Grammar, Vocabulary and Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Creative Communication and Storytelling Skills and Confidence Building.
