Briefly: One killed as car falls into gorge

In a tragic accident, one person was killed and two others injured when their car (HP-92-2814) plunged into a gorge near Chipni village in Banjar subdivision. The victims, Joginder Singh from Jaon Aran, Anil Kumar from Nathela and Shamsher Singh (alias Ravi) from Jaon, were traveling from Jaon to Chipni, with Anil driving. According to Shamsher's statement to the police, the accident occurred around 8.30 am on the Chipni-Nagdhar road when an oncoming car forced them off the road. Joginder was declared dead upon arrival at Banjar Civil Hospital, while Shamsher and Anil received first aid before being referred to Kullu Regional Hospital for further treatment.
