A five-year-old girl was killed after she was run over by a speeding mini-truck in Sector 24 on Monday evening. The police have registered a case. No arrest has been made so far. The victim, identified as Pari, daughter of Pinki, was playing on the road when a truck hit her. Shubham, a nearby resident, said the accused driver who stopped briefly after the accident fled from the spot instead of taking the victim to the hospital.

Electrician electrocuted

A 20-year-old man was electrocuted while repairing an LED panel at a Ramlila fair in East Delhi. The incident occurred on Sunday evening at the CBD Ground near Karkardooma Court in the Anand Vihar area. Veeru, the deceased, was a resident of Shahdara. Shwet Goel, a member of the Ramlila committee, said Veeru had been employed by a vendor responsible for the LED panel installation. “While doing the work, he accidentally touched another wire, which led to the electric shock,” Goel said.
