Booth management by the BJP cadre, especially the ‘panna pramukhs’, was primary reason for the party scoring an unprecedented hat-trick in Haryana. This was the consensus at the first meeting of the BJP State Election Management Committee after the Assembly poll held in Panchkula today.

BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli termed the BJP hat-trick as the result of BJP workers’ hard work and commitment to the party ideology and the nation.

“The BJP is always in the election mode. That is the reason that we have initiated the membership drive immediately after the Assembly poll. So far, 10 lakh members have already been enrolled and the target of 50 lakh members is set to be achieved soon,” Badoli told the meeting attended by chiefs of 34 departments of the BJP and other senior leaders.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said people of Haryana had put the stamp of approval on the pre-people policies of the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, the party organised a feedback session attended by a majority of 42 defeated candidates in the recently Assembly polls. Issues likes neglect of the senior leaders, anti-incumbency against eight ministers and Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, who lost elections, reported oppositions from farmers and Jats, wrong choice of candidates and nil representation to the BJP from the Mewat areas were some of the issues which were discussed at the interaction.
