BJP sets target of making 40,000 new members of Rewari unit
The BJP has set a target of making 40,000 new party members in Rewari mandal by carrying out a special membership drive. The party held a workshop here yesterday to impart training to workers on carrying out the membership drive to achieve the target.
Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav was the chief guest of the training workshop and BJP district president Vandana Popli was the main speaker while the event was presided over by BJP’s Rewari Mandal president Deepak Mangla.
“We have set a target of making 40,000 new party members in Rewari mandal. The workshop was aimed at training the party workers in order to execute the membership drive properly. They were also informed about the outline of the drive,” said Vandana, adding that she was quite confident about fulfilling the target.
Yadav, while speaking on the occasion, said the BJP was the only party which ensured the welfare of every section of society and also worked for equal development of every region of the state so people were eager to connect them with the BJP. Hence, party workers would achieve the target easily.
“By giving the mandate to the BJP in the state Assembly elections for the third time, people have proved that the BJP government has worked for every section of the society in the past decade and its policies are being liked by common men,” said the MLA, adding that the BJP would fulfill all its poll promises.
Rewari Municipal Council Chairperson Poonam Yadav, vice-chairman Shyam Chug were among those present on the occasion.
