Under the leadership of Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal, the BJP launched a protest on Sadar Thana road in the Ballimaran Assembly constituency, accusing the AAP government of neglecting local issues. The demonstration, attended by hundreds of BJP workers, marked the beginning of a series of protests planned across all ten Assembly constituencies in the Chandni Chowk parliamentary area.

“We will expose the failures of AAP MLAs through these protests and issue chargesheets against them,” said Khandelwal. He announced that protests would be held daily in different Assembly constituencies over the next week to highlight the government’s alleged shortcomings. Khandelwal targeted Ballimaran MLA and AAP Minister Imran Hussain, accusing him of ignoring the area’s pressing issues. “Basic problems like poor sewerage and broken roads have been completely neglected, making residents’ lives unbearable,” he said.
