BJP makes list of those who worked against party in elections
The BJP has prepared a list of its leaders/workers who worked against the party’s interest in the recently held Assembly poll. This has been done on the basis of the feedback received from party workers in each Assembly constituency of the state. The party’s central leadership will look into it.
BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli said this while interacting with mediapersons after holding a meeting of party leaders and workers in connection with the party’s membership campaign at its state headquarters here on Thursday.
“No political programme of joining of any leader will be held till the completion of the election process of the party's organisation, but they can take BJP's membership on their own as it is open for everyone,” he said.
Badoli said a campaign for general membership was underway, after which active members would be enrolled, and election for booth-level committee, mandal, district and state units would be conducted. Thereafter, the national president of the BJP would be elected.
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, he claimed, “The Congress is heading towards its end. Not only Haryana, but also the entire country will soon be Congress-free. The Congress has neither any leader nor policy. The internal fight has reached family level, hence it has become a family party instead of a political party.”
Asked about DAP fertiliser, Badoli said the Congress was unable to digest poll defeat, hence its leaders were trying to mislead people by spreading lies over the fertiliser. “DAP is available in adequate quantity all the time and no farmer is facing any problem in this regard. The Congress leaders are forcibly trying to create an issue,” he said.
Earlier, at a meeting, Badoli said a target of adding 50 lakh people to the party in Haryana had been set. “Rohtak has 814 polling booths and 250 people are to be added to the party at each booth. Complete transparency has been maintained in the membership campaign. Anyone can see it online. Over 10 lakh people have so far taken primary membership of the BJP and we will achieve the target of 50 lakh members soon,” he added.
