As the BJP emerged victorious on all five Assembly seats in Karnal district, party leaders and workers were in a jubilant mood. The enthusiastic party workers took out a procession in different areas of the district, rejoicing in the party’s success. The roads were filled with saffron flags, chanting of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and cheers with supporters dancing and distributing sweets to mark the momentous occasion.

BJP candidates Jagmohan Anand from Karnal, Ram Kumar Kashyap from Indri, Harvinder Kalyan from Gharaunda, Yoginder Singh Rana from Assandh and Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi from Nilokheri won their seats.

The BJP supporters gathered at a distance of the counting centres to take out a celebratory procession, with the city’s key roads adorned with the party flags and banners. Similar scenes of celebration unfolded at the election office of Anand, where the party leaders and workers celebrated.

The candidates also expressed their gratitude to the party workers and leaders for their win. “I am thankful to the party workers and leaders for working tirelessly for my victory. I will try my best to continue the development works being carried out by the party workers,” said Jagmohan Anand.

Harvinder Kalyan, who has been elected for the third time, said it was the result of the hard work of the party workers, due to which he won the seat.

Brij Gupta, district president of BJP, expressed gratitude to the party workers and leaders for their hard work and said all MLAs would meet the expectations of the people of Karnal.

The supporters credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for the party’s performance in Haryana, hailing the development work and policies that won the hearts of the voters. Many participants in the processions expressed confidence that the BJP governance would continue to bring about development in the state. The BJP leaders also joined the procession, thanking the voters for their overwhelming support.
