Unidentified miscreants opened fire on the car of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Jot Singh, which was parked outside a gurdwara at Uttam Nagar, Delhi, around 9.30 pm on Monday night, police officials said on Tuesday.

The assailants left behind a threat note signed by the Gogi Maan group.

Singh, a prominent Sikh BJP leader, said he had recently received a threatening call from an international number.
