BJP govt’s aim is to execute Sankalp Patra, says minister at Jhajjar event
Cooperation, Tourism, and Jail Minister, Arvind Sharma, on being asked about the Vidhan Sabha session resuming on Wednesday, said the BJP government’s only objective was to execute its Sankalp Patra (manifesto) for the benefit of the people. He said the government was persistently working in the direction.
Sharma was interacting with mediapersons on the sidelines of a social function here on Tuesday. He also listened to people’s grievances on the occasion and directed the officials concerned to redress them on priority.
Responding to a question about the Congress and the INLD, the minister said the opposition parties’ job was to criticise while the government’s job was to push its agenda forward. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was working towards taking Haryana’s development forward, he said.
“I have been given the responsibility of four departments by the Chief Minister, and I am making efforts to take care of everyone’s interests. The government is constantly working to promote tourism in Haryana and will take it to greater heights. The government will also speed up development works so as to ensure their completion in time,” said Sharma.
He claimed that soon after forming the government, the BJP had started materialising its poll promises by appointing government jobs to over 24,000 youths on a merit basis. The recruitment had brought a wave of happiness among people, he claimed.
In reply to another question, the minister claimed that the BJP was determined to fulfil all its poll promises for the betterment of the people of the state.
