BJP state president Rajiv Bindal today said that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was giving all sorts of excuses to save his government from embarrassment after the party’s defeat in Haryana.

“The Chief Minster says the BJP put a burden of Rs 5,000 crore on the public by opening 1500 institutions like schools, hospitals, colleges, etc. All these institutions facilitate development and public welfare. By closing down all these institutions, Sukhu has created a record,” said Bindal.

He also challenged the CM’s claim of having earned Rs 2200 crore, saying that it was collected by imposing Rs 7 VAT on diesel.
