Hours before getting married, a resident of Lalbai Utri village in the Lambi Assembly segment, who was dressed up as a bridegroom, filed his nomination for the post of sarpanch today.

Tejinder Singh along with “baraatis” had to stand in a queue to file his papers at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Kheowali village.

Tejinder said, “I think there is no humanity left in the world. I have to tie a knot today, but neither officials nor those standing in the queue ahead of me allowed me to file papers before my turn.”
