The school resonated with exuberance, vitality, and camaraderie during the commencement of the four-day Annual Athletic Meet for kindergarten and primary. Over 3,400 students of nursery to Class V are participating in about 80 distinct track events, all under the banner of the resolute motto “Fight for fitness”. The ceremonial ignition of the torch marked the official opening of the event with school Manager Capt Vijay Kumar Sayal, members of the school management, Director, Arya Samaj Group of Schools, Dr Parmjit Kaur, Principal Dr Anuja Kaushal and Headmistress. Suchitra Mehta declaring the meet open. Following this, the School Proctorial Board, along with student representatives from each section, took the Oath of Sportsmanship, pledging to uphold the values of fair play and teamwork throughout the competition. The dulcet tones of the school choir, “Sport Serenade”, elevated the festive ambience. The excitement reached its peak during the “SportFusion” display, where young athletes showcased their impressive skills in gymnastics, karate, and skating, leaving the audience in awe. The track events commenced with the enthusiastic participation of nursery athletes, who competed in a range of fun and engaging races, including Hoop Gliders, Party Pop and Go, Together We Can, Chef Goes Shopping, and Hurdle Hustle. Principal Dr Anuja Kaushal addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of sports in nurturing not just physical fitness but also life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and collaboration.
