Four of international drug trafficking gang arrested in Bathinda

The Bathinda police have busted an international drug trafficking gang and arrested four persons and seized drug money of Rs 1.78 crore from them.
Addressing a press conference, SP (D) Ajay Gandhi said the accused used to order heroin from Pakistan through drones and collect the drug money to send it to the international trafficker Kendraveer Singh alias Sunny Dayal, who is staying abroad, through hawala. The SP said many people were involved in this case.
The arrested smugglers have been identified as Bikkar Singh of Paras Ram Nagar, Bathinda, Tara Chand Parik of Ludhiana, Simarjeet Singh alias Simar and Harminder Singh alias Gullu, both of Amritsar.
Kinderveer Singh, who is staying in the USA, has also been named in the police case. He is yet to be arrested.
Earlier, the Anti-Gangster Task Force on July 24 last year had arrested Baljinder Singh alias Bindri, Baljinder Singh alias Ranch of Mahinangal in Talwandi Sabo, Manpreet Singh Mani of Mamdot, Ferozepur, and Gurpreet Singh Gora of Mamdot with 270 grams of heroin, a .30 bore foreign pistol and an Audi car.
Bikkar Singh’s name came up after investigation in the case and he was named in the FIR. He was on the run after getting bail from the court and was held in an ATM robbery case in Agra a few days ago. He had been brought to Bathinda on production warrant.
After Bikar Singh’s two-day production brand, police named Tara Chand Parik, Simarjeet Singh and Harminder Singh and Kinderveer Singh in the case.
