Baba Siddiqui murder: Punjab Police arrest Fazilka-based person in joint operation

In a significant breakthrough, the Punjab Police’s Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) collaborated with the Maharashtra Police to apprehend Akash Gill, a Fazilka resident, for providing logistical support in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai last month.

DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav revealed that Akash Gill is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and aided the shooters involved in the murder. Gill has been handed over to the Mumbai police for further investigation.

The joint operation was led by DSP Rajan Parminder Singh, with AGTF teams working closely with the Mumbai police under AIG AGTF Sandeep Goel’s supervision. Gill’s role was uncovered during the ongoing investigation, prompting swift action.
