Baba Siddique murder case: One more suspect held from Kaithal

A team of the Mumbai Police has arrested one more suspect, Amit, a resident of Bata village in Kaithal district, in connection with the murder case of former minister and senior NCP leader Baba Siddique case.

This is the second arrested from Kaithal. Earlier, shooter Gurmel Singh was apprehended at the crime scene by the Mumbai police.

Confirming his arrest, Kaithal SP Rajesh Kalia said the Mumbai police had arrested Amit in connection with Baba Siddique's murder case.

As per the police, three to four cases of thrashing were registered against him. Police sources said he allegedly provided accommodation to one of the prime accused.

Baba Siddique was shot by three assailants. Two of the shooters were arrested at the spot, while third shooter managed to flee.
