Ayurveda, allopathy should complement each other: Vij

Health Minister Anil Vij has said that different methods of treatment should not be contradictory but rather complement each other.

Vij said various methods of treatment, including allopathy and the age-old age ayurvedic system under Ayush, treat patients in their own way and help them recover. Therefore, these systems should not work against each other. He said the main objective of all methods of treatment was only to treat patients.

The minister said separate departments had been constituted in the country and the state so that both the methods could function. Vij said in the state, he was giving equal attention to both the departments so that the public could get the best treatment facilities. — TNS
