Nurmahal: The Nurmahal police station is facing a shortage of police personnel. Against the sanctioned strength of 101, there are only 46 police men. On the other hand, a large number of police personnel and CRPF jawans have been deployed at Divya Jayoti Jagiti Sansthan. Over 60 police men, along with CRPF jawans, have been deployed at the sansthan. Additional force is deployed when the sansthan organises a function. OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind.
