Dasehra was celebrated at Ashiana Public School. The celebrations started with the recitation of Gayatri Mantra and Mool Mantra. Thereafter, the students were told about the significance of Dasehra. The students of the senior wing presented a skit depicting the significance of the festival. Students of UKG also presented a wonderful group song. Interesting activities related to the theme — Dasehra — were also held for various classes. The celebrations concluded with some valuable information about the festival thus enhancing their learning. The school director and the principal motivated the students to follow the path of honesty and truthfulness.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
