Arindam Rajput, a seven-year-old boy from the town, was crowned the ‘Little Master Himachal’ in a state-level contest held at Nadaun recently.

Arindam is a Class II student Him Academy Public School here. The contest was organised by Event Guru.

Himachal Pradesh Basket Ball Association president Muneesh Sharma felicitated the winners of the contest.

He said such events infused confidence among little kids, and inculcated a spirit of competition among them.

Sharma said 15 finalists from across the state participated in the event.

Vishal Sharma, founder of Event Guru, said the organisation was organising various events to promote the art, culture and traditions of the state. More events would be organised to encourage the youth of the state, he added.
