London: A solid-gold toilet is set to be installed in one of the UKs grandest palaces, while allowing the general public to use it, the media reported on Friday. The 18-carat gold artwork, "America" by Maurizio Cattelan, made headlines in the US after the Guggenheim offered it to President Donald Trump instead of the Van Gogh painting he requested, the Guardian reported. Australian taxi drivers sue Uber in class action

Canberra:  Thousands of taxi drivers on Friday filed a class action lawsuit against ride-sharing app Uber "for destroying their livelihoods". Legal firm Maurice Blackburn filed the lawsuit on behalf of over 6,000 drivers of taxis, charter vehicles and limousines, among others, reports Efe news. IANS

New Zealand PM Ardern to marry long-time partner

Wellington New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and her long-term partner Clarke Gayford have become engaged to be married, her office said Friday. A spokesman for Ardern and Gayford said the couple, who have a baby daughter Neve, agreed to tie the knot over the Easter break. He could not reveal whether a date for the prime ministerial nuptials had been set or who had proposed to whom. New York: Alphabet Inc’s YouTube unveiled on Thursday nine new original programmes that will be available for free this year as the streaming service shrinks an effort to attract subscribers with content exclusively behind a paywall.
