Rohan Rathi's blitzkrieg helped Minerva Academy Cricket Club beat Northeastern Railways by five wickets in the All India Shaheed Major Amey

Tripathi Cricket Tournament final at Faisal Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. 

Set to chase 173 for victory, Minerva romped home in the 8.4 overs as Rathi smashed 74 off just 34 balls in front of a packed crowd. Tajinder played a steady knock of 33.

Earlier, led by left-arm spinner Vinay Chaudhary, Minerva bowled out Northeastern Railways for 172 runs. 

Chaudhary claimed 4/35. He was ably supported Tajinder Singh Dhillon who grabbed 3/4. Rathi was adjudged man of the match for his effort. 

In the semifinals, Minerva had defeated Malik Spots with Tajinder Singh scoring an unbeaten 102 off just 56 balls, while in the quarterfinals city boys thumped Delhi's Hari Singh Cricket Club Delhi.

Tajinder Singh received the man of the series award for his consistent run with the bat, while Vinay Chaudhary was adjudged the best bowler. 

The winning team was awarded a glittering trophy and cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
