The Great Khali (Dilip Singh Rana) will launch ‘Continental Wrestling Entertainment’ (CWE), the Indian version of WWE, at the Rajeev Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun in early January next year. Chief Minister Harish Rawat directed the officials concerned to complete all preparations in this regard.

The Chief Minister at a meeting at the Bijapur guest house here yesterday gave orders that the internal part of the stadium should be completed by January 2016. He also directed Secretary, Sports, Shailesh Bagoli to prepare a plan for using the stadium and also a calendar of events to be organised after Great Khali’s event. The possible expenditure plan for the next three or four years should also be prepared. A team of professionals be constituted to develop the stadium as a source of income.
