Rs 10 cr okayed for Kurali industrial area

The Punjab government has offered Rs 10 crore for the drainage and repairing of roads at Chanalon industrial focal point located near Kurali in the Kharar Assembly segment. Local MP Manish Tewari said he, accompanied by senior Congress leader Jagmohan Singh Kang, led a delegation of industrialists to meet Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Housing and Urban Development, Vini Mahajan.
He said poor and deplorable condition of the focal point was brought to her notice. The roads and drainage system were in a bad shape. He said the ACS had offered to release Rs 10 crore for drainage and repair of roads. Tewari said it was also agreed that a plot would be allotted to the industrial association on reserve price for constructing its office there.
