The two posts of vice-presidents were bagged by Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar (205) and Amarjit Singh Banga (148), defeating Sukhwinder Singh Walia (141) and Kuljit Singh Sahni (128).  Surinder Singh Rumalianwale (179) and Sawinder Singh Kathunangal (171) occupied the seats of honorary secretary defeating Santokh Singh Sethi (158) and Amarjit Singh Bhatia (119).

For resident president, Harminder Singh was declared winner with 165 votes beating Sukhdev Singh Mathewal (151).  After excluding bogus voters, the list of total number of eligible voters had come down to 399 from 425.

As many as 329 members polled votes, whereas six votes were declared ineligible on the issue of “patit”.

After registering convincing win, Nirmal Singh said his team would be bound to keep up the promise of reviving the old dignity of the CKD.
