Students with exceptional brilliance, planning to pursue basic science programme (BSc, BS, BStat, BMath) or Integrated MSc, MS and build their career in research, are invited by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, to apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility: Class XI and XII students, who have scored a minimum of 75 per cent in maths and science are eligible for Stream SA and SX, respectively; first year students, who had scored at least 60 per cent in basic science or Integrated MSc, MS in maths, physics, chemistry, biology in Class XII, are eligible for Stream SB. SC, ST, PWD candidates are relieved with 10 per cent relaxation in marks.

Details: Graduates, integrated first to third year students and MSC, integrated fourth to fifth years students, will receive monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 and Rs 7,000 and annual contingency grant of Rs 20,000 and Rs 28,000 respectively.

Siemens financial aid programme

Undergraduates, enrolled in the first year of engineering in mechanical, production, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, electronics and telecommunication, computers, IT or Instrumentation stream are invited by Seimens India, to apply for this scholarship and receive various benefits under the same.

Eligibility: Students, enrolled in government colleges and having a minimum score of 60 per cent in high school, 50 per cent in Class XII with 60 per cent in PCM and below 20 years of age with family income not exceeding Rs 2 lakh, are eligible.

Details: Selected scholars will be granted tuition fee reimbursement, books, stationery, hostel, additional allowance and holistic development programme. If a student is already availing any other scholarship, then the remaining balance of the tuition fee will be reimbursed.

Meritorious girl students studying in a government-recognised school are offered an opportunity by Eros Group to win financial aid through this scholarship.

Eligibility: Candidates applying for a three or four-year degree course in the above-mentioned programme or those applying for LLB course are also eligible.
