“Today I declare to contest the assembly elections from Jalalabad constituency and challenge Sukhbir Badal to contest the elections against me,” declared Mann amid thunderous applause by his supporters.

Mann was addressing a political rally ‘Badal Bhajao, Punjab Bachao’ at Jagraon today late evening. Encouraged by the presence of a large number of party supporters amid drizzling and on a waterlogged road, Mann said the huge presence of people despite rain was a clear sign how much people of Punjab love the AAP and how much they were eager to elect the AAP government in Punjab.

Mann also declared to hold a massive rally at Jalalabad on August 28 to show the AAP strength to the ruling SAD-BJP alliance. “Badals have looted Punjab with both hands but now their time is over. Voters of Punjab are eagerly waiting for the elections to wipeout the SAD-BJP government,” said Mann.

Accusing cabinet minister Bikramjit Singh Majithia of being involved in drug trade in Punjab and running future of youths, Mann pledged to send Majithia behind the bars after forming the government in Punjab.
