Uniform paper for NEET this yr: CBSE to SC

There will be a uniform question paper for the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to various medical colleges from this year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) informed the Supreme Court on Thursday.
Questions will be translated in regional languages and question papers will have questions in both English and one language of the region/state where examination was to be held, CBSE counsel Tarachand Sharma told a Bench.

The top court had in August last year said there should be a common question paper after some students complained about different sets of questions for various languages. It was alleged that the difficulty level of question papers in eight vernacular languages was higher in comparison to English and Hindi. — TNS
