Hero Cycles, world’s largest bicycle manufacturer, celebrated its founder’s day at on the business premises on GT Road here today.

Chief Guest of the event was Shri Etanimura, Managing Director of Munjal Kiriu Industries Private Limited. Several other personalities attended the event.

The Munjal family paid tributes to company’s founder OP Munjal. Guests at the event garlanded the photo of OP Munjal and remembered his contribution to the Hero Cycles group. The third generation of the Munjal family was present.

Pankaj Munjal, Chairman and Managing Director, Hero Cycles, said: “Hero Cycles founder OP Munjal had a vision which has been translated into success. From a humble start in 1956, Hero Cycles has come a long way to become the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world. All credit goes to OP Munjal. We will continue work on his vision and follow the core philosophies of our business laid down by him.”
