Executive Magistrate Kuldeep Singh said, “Participation of social activists and leaders of various organisations in favour of the Drug Abuse Prevention Officer (DAPO) movement launched by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has worked wonders.”

“Initially, only registered DAPOs played role in identification and rehabilitation of drug addicts. However, now volunteers have started coming forward by participating in the signature campaign against nuisance of drug addiction,” he said.

Ahmedgarh Municipal Council president Shiraj Mohammad and Rotary Club president SP Sofat appreciated volunteers.
