Residents to welcome nagar kirtan in city tomorrow

In view of the 550th Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Nanak Dev, a nagar kirtan has started from Delhi, that would culminate at Gurdwara Shri Kartarpur Sahib (Pakistan). This nagar kirtan would pass through Ludhiana on October 28 and a large number of devotees are ecstatic over this event.
Deputy Commissioner, Pradeep Kumar Agrawal stated that devotees can pay their obeisance in front of the Paliki Sahib, that is to be installed at Gurudwara Shri Kartarpur Sahib (Pakistan). He further added that the nagar kirtan would enter the district from Khanna, and would then pass through Libra, Bija, Gurudwara Manji Sahib Kotan, Doraha, Kanech, Sahnewal, Khakat, Sherpur Chowk, Dholewal Chowk, Partap Chowk, Gill Chowk, Dugri Road, before reaching Gurudwara Shaheedan near Gujjarkhan Campus, Model Town, here, where it would halt for night.
The Deputy Commissioner said the nagar kirtan would start for further journey on October 29 and would pass through Gulati Chowk, Khamba Chowk, Baba Deep Singh Gurudwara Chowk, Deep Hospital, Preet Palace, Gill Chowk, Vishwakarma Chowk, Jagraon Bridge cut, old Jail Road, Gurudwara Kalgidhar Sahib, Subhani Building, Railway Station, Clock Tower, Salem Tabri, Jalandhar Byepass Chowk, Ladhowal Byepass, before leaving for Phillaur.
