‘Rangla Punjab’ celebrates Punjabi culture

Ludhiana, October 22

Panjab University Regional Centre, and Rashtriya Kala Manch, Punjab and Chandigarh, organised a cultural programme, “Rangla Punjab”, with an aim to reignite the extinguishing flame of culture and tradition of India, and acknowledge the youth who are making efforts to continue traditions for the coming generations.

The event was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony and welcome to the chief guests, Kamal Sharma, member of NEC BJP and president of Chandigarh Volleyball Association; DR Bhatti, former DGP, Punjab armed police; Prof Ravi Inder Singh, director, PURC. Classical dances and Saraswati Vandana were also performed.
