Ludhiana: Students of New GMT Public School have performed outstandingly in the CBSE matriculation examination. Samiya has scored 97% marks and stood third position in the city. As many as 30 students have scored 80% and above.

DGSG Public School 

Class X students of DGSG Public School have brought laurels to the school with 100% result. As many as 11 students scored more than 90% marks and 18 got above 80%. Nandini Verma bagged first position with 96.4% marks, Kiranjot Kaur stood second with 96.2% and Charanjeet Kaur scored 95.5% and was at third position.

Nankana Sahib Public School

Students of Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, have proved their mettle in the recently declared result of Class X by the CBSE. As many as 13 students have scored 90% and above marks. Paramdeep Kaur has stood first in the school by scoring 97% marks. She is followed by Chander Gupta with 96.6% and Jasmeet Kaur with 96%.

BCM School, Basant City

Class X sudents of BCM School, Basant City, have given excellent results in CBSE examinations. Prabhjot Kaur has topped with 96% marks. Gurleen Kaur and Kanishka are second joint with 95.6% marks. Divyansh and Harshita are joint third with 95.4%.

Green Valley Public School 

Green Valley Public School, Ahmedgarh, reached a new milestone by giving 100% result of Class X. Kuber Sharma has scored 96.4%, Garima Sharma 96.2%, Rumani 95.6%, Sanket Dhand 95.6% and Komal Verma got 95.4%. Principal Kavita Kapoor and vice-principal Ennu Bhalla congratulated the students.

USPC Jain Public School

Students of USPC Jain Public School, Chandigarh Road, have brought laurels to the school by proving their mettle in the CBSE Class X result. As many as 23 students have scored 90% and above. Sukhmanpreet Kaur has bagged first position by scoring 96.8% marks, followed by Rizul Thakur (96%), Dhrub Dhyani (95.6%), Mehak Kumari (95.2%). President of the school Tarsem Kumar Jain lauded the achievement of the students.

Darshan Academy School

Class X students of Darshan Academy School proved their mettle by producing excellent results. Jasvir Kaur with 95.4% topped the school. Large number of distinctions, high percentage and a number of students scoring 90% have made the school proud.   

POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

A poem recitation competition for Class IX and X was organised at BCM School, Chandigarh Road, to mark the birth anniversary of William Shakespeare and acknowledge his excellence in the field of poetry. Participants showcased their talent through various poems written by the poet. Participants were judged on parameters such as voice modulation, presentation and intonation. Vanshika of Class X-F bagged first position. Poorvi of Class IX–F was second and Prathana of IX- H got third position in the competition. 

Yuvraj wins folk song contest

Yuvraj Babbar, a student of Class IX from Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, won first prize in Punjabi folk song (solo) competition held as a part of the Science Fest 2019 at Guru Nanak Public School during. As many as 35 students from various CBSE schools of the city participated in the competition. TNS
