Namya to get E-Innovation Award
Ludhiana: Namya Joshi, Class VI student, of Sat Paul Mittal School would be conferred with the E-Innovation Award 2018 by the Mugu Foundation. She would be the youngest recipient amongst 27 prominent personalities across the world, who would receive this award in April 2019. More than 3,000 nominations were received from 18 countries. She has 30 Google and Microsoft certifications to her credit. Namya said, “This achievement is the highest honour and tremendous highlight of my academic life.” Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, congratulated Namya for this remarkable achievement.
Annual function organised
Learning Station play school celebrated its annual function titled “Vibrations”. Tiny tots entertained the audience with interesting and colorful items, including fancy dress, group dance, group song, poetry, story narration and recitation, among others. Magician Saggu Sarkar left the spectators awestruck. Another highlight was the graduation ceremony in which nursery and pre nursery kids were awarded certificates. Gunika and Pranveer were declared stars of the year. Prof VK Mehta said main aim of the school was to ensure the overall development of kids .
Founder general secy remembered
GNPS, Model Town Extension commemorated the death anniversary of its founder general secretary Jagat Singh. School staff recited path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib. Jasbir Singh Ryait, president GNPS committee, and son of Jagat Singh was present on the occasion. He reminiscenced about his father’s contribution as the founder general and exhorted all teachers to dedicate themselves to the cause of students, following the vision of his father. Principal Mona Singh said discharging duty with honesty and integrity is the biggest tributeto its founding father. TNS
