Miss Panjaban in city, shares her experience in contest

Ludhiana, December 14
The winner of Miss World Panjaban 2017, Gurpreet Kaur from Haryana, and runner up Simran Bamrah from Delhi visited a local store on Mall Road today.
The finale of the contest was held in Toronto a few weeks ago. Gurpreet qualified after going through tough selection norms, which include how well to carry oneself and how well versed contestants were with the Punjabi culture.
Participants had to clear four rounds, including bridal wear, gidhha dance. They had to perform in these events and answer questions on Punjabi traditions. The outfits of all these Punjabi mutiyar’s was prepared by Sonu Nilibar.
While sharing their experiences winners said they gained rich knowledge in the contest. Through participation they also came to know about many facts about Punjab, which earlier they were not aware of.
