Magic show for kids
Ludhiana: At an ongoing summer camp at Maple Bear Canadian Playway and Nursery School, Udham Singh Nagar, a magician showcased his skills. He also shared some tips with students. He told them that magic is only an illusion of the eyes and simple hand-tricks. Kids enjoyed the magic show. Magician played tricks with balls, hanky, flowers, newspaper, the candles and card game. It entertained all children.
Summer camp activities
Shamrock Christian Senior Secondary School, Hambran Road, organised a summer camp for the students of the KG section. Around 150 students participated in a 10-day long summer camp. Students learnt a number of things as table manners, dance, art and craft , spoken English, clay moulding etc. A number of other activities such as games, puppet show, cartoons were enjoyed by the students. On the last day, children enjoyed a pool party which was followed by distribution of sweets and cakes among the children.
Orchid Junior International
The school organised a 10-day summer camp for toddlers .The camp helped in developing and enhancing the creative skills of kids. The main attractions of the camp were non-flame based cooking activities, story-telling with a story teller, pottery with the professional potter, yoga and meditation, grooming session, karate and self- defence and other activities. Kids actively participated in all the activities with the professionals which helped in enhancing their kinesthetic intelligence.
AS Modern School, Khanna
AS Modern Senior Secondary School, Khanna, organised the closing ceremony of summer camp which was held at school from June 1 to June 7. The summer camp comprised different talent enrichment classes like yoga, art of living, dance, music, sports, spoken English, mental maths, giddha, bhangra etc. During this camp students were not only given the opportunity to enjoy but they also got a platform to show their hidden talent. Talking about this summer camp, management committee and officiating Principal Neena Dhand, said these programmes would help the students to polish their talented personalities.
Pool party organised
Students of Ram Lal Bhasin School enjoyed splash during a pool party organised at school on Wednesday . Students who came in colourful attire, played several water games to beat the scorching heat. Principal Raman Oberoi said such activities were very important for the overall development of students. Children were also told about the importance of conserving water. TNS
