‘Farewell Party & Ashirwad Samaroh’ for the outgoing batch was held at Everest Public Senior Secondary School, Moti Nagar. Principal Asha Sharma advised the students to cultivate the spirit of leadership among them so as to achieve their goal in life.

Tagore Public School

The school organised a farewell ceremony for the students of Class XII students. The day commenced with a hawan ceremony. A small cultural programme was also arranged for the students. A ramp walk stole the show in which Navraj Singh was selected as ‘Mr Farewell’ and Muskaan Rawat was selected as ‘Ms Farewell’.

DCM Presidency

The school organised farewell to the students for Class XII. A formal welcome note was accorded to the students by their mentors. The students were felicitated by the principal and their class incharge. Students shared their memories with their teachers through a video presentation. School principal Nupur Nutan wished the students good luck.

Seminar at SISJMPS

The SISJMPS School, Karamsar Rara Sahib, organised a seminar on ‘electronics and communication system’ to create an environment of scientific temperament and to bring forth the natural endowment of the students. The ATL incharge, Vivek Kaushal, and Prabhjot Singh, Assistant Professor, Chandigarh University, attended the seminar as the resource person. As many as 50 students from the school participated in the seminar.

‘Matribhasha Diwas’ celebrated

The DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, celebrated International Mother Language Day. Students presented play, folk songs, speech, debate and slogan writing in Hindi and Punjabi. Yogesh Gambir, principal of the school, said, India was the country of diverse culture and traditions. It made us wise to respect others’ languages.

Drawing activity held at BCM Arya

With an initiative to enhance the creativity and to ameliorate the knowledge regarding famous authors and their famous books of different countries such as Germany, England, France, India and Pakistan, ‘Drawing of Book Cover Page’ was held at BCM Arya Model Senior. Secondary School, Shastri Nagar. The students of Class V exhibited their talent by drawing the cover page of famous books of the linked countries.

Story dramatisation competition

Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar, byepass, Ludhiana, organised ‘English story dramatisation competition’ for the students of kindergarten. Many students from the various sections of KG participated in the contest. The students dramatised the moral-based stories including The Red Riding Hood, The Shepherd Boy and The Wolf, The Capseller and The Monkeys.
