Spring Dale Senior Secondary Public School witnessed a very colourful and vibrant Basant festival celebrations. The tiny tots came beautifully decked up in yellow attire. The students were also awarded with the titles of 'Basant Prince' and 'Basant Princess' on this occasion. Tiny tots of kindergarten also enjoyed a craft activity during which they made creative and tastefully embellished head bands and sunflowers. The whole campus wore a festive look and was adorned with colourful kites and yellow sunflowers.SaraswatiPoojan created a pious aura in the campus.

Green land Convent School

Green land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, was bubbling with religious fervor and enthusiasm on the occasion of Basant Panchami, a festival marking the beginning of spring and Holi Seasons. The ambience was filled with jubilation.The children arrived dressed in radiant shades of yellow, which is both the colour of Spring and that associated with Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning who is worshipped on the occasion.The spring of joy took over when a prayer ceremony worshipping Goddess Saraswati was led by offerings of spring flowers by all the students and staff of the school and distribution of Prasad amongst all. A special assembly was held on this day. It started with the children and teachers singing 'SaraswatiVandana'

Shamrock school

Basant Panchami was celebrated with great pomp and show at Shamrock Christian Senior Secondary School, Hambran Road. The day began with a special assembly, in which the students melodiously sang the song for the occasion - Hey  veena Vadini Mata vidya do Ma Vidya do. Students recited beautiful poem on Basant. The tiny tots of the Kindergarten section came beautifully attired in yellow dresses and flowers. They danced on the melodious song - Saraswati Vandana. The teachers told them about the importance of the day. Children also learnt the concept of sharing. The delicious food items which the children had brought for the occasion such as yellow rice, halwa, Tri color sandwich etc. were relished by all.

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar

Abuzz with festive spirit, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, celebrated Basant Panchmi with gaiety. The celebration commenced with Saraswati Pujan for seeking the blessings of goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Followed by divine rendition of Shloks, Saraswati Vandana and Bhajans all enjoyed the day by being engulfed in religious fervor.  Students offered spring flowers to Goddess Saraswati and enjoyed yellow food. They were got apprised with the significance of the day by organizing various competitions related to writing and singing of Saraswati Vandana.

‘Shukrana Samagam’

To conclude the current academic session the Budding Brains International School celebrated 'Shukrana Samagam' in its premises under the aegis of school Management and Principal, Mandeep Kaur. The programme started with the Path, 'Shri Sukhmani Sahib' recited by the teachers followed by poems, speeches and shabads by the students.

Farewell party organised 

GGN Public School organised farewell party for the outgoing Class 12. The gala celebration began with the school shabad seeking the blessings of Almighty .The school captain Jasganeev Singh and School Vice Captain Kamalpreet Kaur extended gratitude speech on this occasion and thanked their mentors for their perpetual support in all their endeavours.  The students of the outgoing class came decked up in their beautiful formal attires and ramp walked on stage. They walked away with the catchy titles like Teacher's favourite, intellectuals , best smile etc. Ketanjit Singh of Class XII A and Muskan Sharma of XIIC bagged the title of Mr GGN and Ms GGN, respectively.
