‘Rang Punjab’ star cast comes calling

Ludhiana, November 19

Star cast of Punjabi movie “Rang Punjab”, including lead actors Deep Sidhu and Reena Rai came calling on Monday.

Speaking about the film, Sidhu said, “There was a time when Punjab used to produce the IAS, IPS and Army officers, but nowadays one hears about drugs.”

He said, “The story traces my journey who is trying to stand against bad things happening around him, including politics, administration problems, drugs, crime etc.”

Actor Reena Rai said she had always wanted to begin her acting career with some meaningful film.

Director Rakesh Mehta said, “We really hope that we are able to convey that youngsters are actually waging a war against the evils that are eating the glory of Punjab like termites.”

The movie is set to release on November 23. TNS
