After saas-bahu shows, how is it to be back to comedy?

Yes, it feels great! I had worked with Playtime Creations in 2006. So, it is a good change doing comedy after 10 years.

Describe the character that you enact in the show?

Neetu is a doting wife and a mother. She represents the typical Indian housewife of the 80’s. She has no complications in her life. Her family is her first priority.

Do you relate to Neetu in real life?

The one common thing is that I am a family person too. I give first priority to my family. When I get a holiday, I dedicate the whole day to my family.

Which genre do you enjoy the most and why?

I enjoy comedy, but I have not done much of it. I’m actually scared of comic roles despite me having done comedy in theatre. But by God’s grace, this role has come out well.

How is it working with Shekhar Suman?

Shekharji is an amazing person and co-star. All day, his energy is infectious and you will never see him low. There is so much positivity around him. He does not have any air of his seniority and he gels well with everyone. He is such an easy co-actor to work with.

What has the industry taught you over the years?

What I have learnt from the industry is to be a good human being, work hard and remain focused.

Are you satisfied with the roles you are doing?

I constantly want to improve myself.

What is your take on web series?

The web is booming. It is entertainment according to your time.
