A biopic on IPS officer Navniet Sekera is in the making and reports suggest that television’s popular face, Mohit Raina has been finalised to play the lead role. For those who are not much aware, Navniet Sekera is a UP based IPS officer. Also known as real life Singham, he is the man behind the eradication of gangsters and mafia in Uttar Pradesh. With almost 60 executions to his credit, he is known as the execution specialist of the state. 

Talking about Mohit Raina, he became one of the most loved actors of small screen when he played titular role in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. However, his last show 21 Sarfarosh: Battle of Saragarhi validated the powerhouse of talent that he is. The actor was highly appreciated for his portrayal of Havildar Ishar Singh in the historical series. Keeping his talent in mind, the makers were convinced about casting him.
