How and when did you decide to make a career in modelling and acting?

I was always fascinated and attracted about being in the glamour and entertainment world right from my school days. One day when I saw Waris Ahluwalia, the first turbaned international model, on a big hoarding at Oxford Street; that’s when I decided that I would also go for the same career.  

How did you bag the show Top Model India?

It was a very random incident and just a stroke of luck. I was late than my usual timing at the gym this particular day and was just chilling when this guy walks up to me introduces himself as an executive from viacom18 and asks if I’m a model. He explains the platform. Now I’ve definitely heard of the American version as its huge and so famous all over. So, I immediately said yes.

What are your career goals?

I definitely want to become an actor. I know I will make it as there are so many different types of movies being made now... cinema has really evolved.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Being a recognised face all over and successful at my job!
