Sunny Singh, son of award-winning action director Jai Singh Nijjar, began his career in Bollywood with Madhur Bhandarkar’s rom-com Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji in 2011. Then, Sunny was later seen in Luv Ranjan’s romantic film Akaash Vani in which he played the role of an abusive husband. It was with Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that he eventually got fame. His characters in both the films were loved by the audiences and he was praised for his dialogue delivery.
The actor is currently gearing up for his next release, opposite Pyaar Ka Punchnama-fame Sonnalli Seygall, titled Jai Mummy Di. Also featuring the talented Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon, the rom-com is directed by Navjot Gulati. Reportedly, the movie revolves around trials a couple has to go through due to the conflicting dynamics between their respective mothers. Recently, Sunny took to his social media handle to share the first motion poster of the film. In the short clip, two hands come together to form a heart, however, they are pulled away by what looks like their mothers’ hands!
