RIP Veeru Devgan: Kajol cries hugging Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as father-in-law passes away

It was a sad day at the Devgn household on Monday, when Ajay Devgn's father Veeru Devgan died at the age of 85 at Surya hospital, Mumbai.

As B-town celebrities received the news, everyone including Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rushed to Ajay’s residence to pay their respects.

Kajol got emotional and broke down in Aishwarya’s arms.

In a clip, as Abhishek stands next to his wife Aishwarya, Kajol is inconsolable.

At one point, Aishwarya hugs her and Kajol cries in her arms. Abhishek pats Kajol as Aishwarya holds her tight in her arms.

Among others who showed up Ajay’s residence to pay their last respects were Amitabh Bachchan, Sunny Deol with brother Bobby, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor who came with his dad, producer Boney Kapoor, veteran actor Raza Murad, Suniel Shetty and Tusshar Kapoor among many more.

Veeru was suffering from breathing problems for which he was immediately admitted.

However, his condition turned critical and he suffered a cardiac arrest. Veeru Devgan, popular action director behind films such as ‘Roti Kapda Aur Makaan’ and ‘Mr Natwarlal’.
