Guneet Monga heads South

Filmmaker Guneet Monga has been grabbing headlines ever since her win at the Oscars last week. Guneet’s short film Period. End of Sentence won the coveted Oscar for the Best Documentary Short and the producer was more than thrilled to have worked on the film. Wishes and love poured in from all across India for Guneet and now she is back in the country for her next project. 

Guneet recently took to her Twitter handle and announced that she will be collaborating with a top star down South. She has been signed on for Tamil star Suriya Sivakumar’s next which will be helmed by Saala Khadoos director Sudha Kongara. The project is untitled as of now, but it is being referred to as #Suriya38.  Fans of Suriya are delighted that an Oscar-winning filmmaker will be collaborating with the star. Suriya already has two films under his belt this year, NGK and Kaappaan.
